All these bulbs flower in late sommer or early Autumn, so they need to be ordered by the end of January and are best sold before the end of March

Popularly known as the autumn crocus, these flowers closely resemble crocuses but flower in late summer and early autumn.  Great for naturalising in fields as stock will not eat them.

Sternbergia NZ Grown
Also known as the autumn crocus, Sternbergia flower after the first autumn rains.  Good drainage is essential for success and a sunny position is preferred.
Sternbergia will naturalise easily and provide welcome garden colour when little else is flowering.  They are ideal for warmer climates where spring flowering crocuses do not thrive.

Flowering in early autumn,  Crocus speciosus needs good drainage and full sun.  It is ideal for rock gardens and as with Sternbergia lutea, it makes a good substitute for spring flowering crocuses in warmer climates.
